The Fourth of July was Hayli's first big holiday and we had so much fun celebrating it! The night before, we drove up to Heber to spend a couple nights there. In the morning we got up to go over to Park City to a big parade they do there every year. Hayli was up a little too late the night before so we had to wake HER up around 9:30am in order to get her ready to make the parade on time. Once we got there she was passed out within 2 minutes. (even with how extremely loud everything was around us). This girl loves to sleep, she is definitely her mommy's daughter! :) The parade was super fun, there were so many people all over the streets and watching from their apartment windows above, the shops were all open, and the weather was nice; everyone was just having a good time. It was also really nice because we just stood right outside Marc's office and if it got too hot or too loud we were able to go inside and sit for a while. After the parade we went over to a pizza place in Midway to have some lunch then it was back to the house where we got Hayli down for her nap and Derek and I just hung out and relaxed on the back porch while she slept. That night Derek and I went with some friends to the Real Salt Lake game while grandma and grandpa got to babysit Hayli. I was a little worried about being away from her just because she has been so clingy these past couple of weeks but she did really well! :) The game was so much fun and even tho it ended in tie :( the fireworks after were so amazing and we had a great time with our friends! By the time we got back to Heber it was around 12am and we found Hayli sleeping in bed with grandma and grandpa....so cute! I had missed her so much I couldn't wait to cuddle with the little muchkin, so we took her to bed with us for the perfect ending to our great day! :)
